So what does an up and coming band do when lockdown kicks in to scupper your live plans just after you’ve won the Glastonbury Pilton competition (judged by Michael Eavis), played in front of 8,000 people, supported Wolf Alice and completed an epic festival season playing the main stages at Bearded Theory and Beautiful Days?
Well, if you are the young, energetic Exeter based, funk-soul band Pattern Pusher, you closet yourself in the studio and emerge 6 months later with an epic, up-tempo classic album that hits all the right notes for a world crying out for positive, feel-good music. The album is now attracting significant industry attention.
“Come Along” is the first single release for the band in over a year and was produced by John Waddell in Oxford and has been mixed by the legendary Chris Sheldon. The band recently gave the song its first public performance as part of the online “Music Feeds” concert headlined by Liam Gallagher, Blossoms and Sam Smith that raised over £1 million for charity. The session they recorded in their own studio earned them the accolade of the best performance of the night from many of the concert viewers and they are now in talks with the organisers “James” about accompanying them on live dates.

The band have recently signed a management deal and the first two tracks will be published and pitched for synch by “Wipe Out” publishing. “We are so excited to be able to finally share the new music that we have been working on with the world. We have a renewed spring in our step and we are marching into 2021 with positivity and excitement”.
